Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family a man her parents have never met. And if that wasnt upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something hes never done before keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesdays normal boyfriend and his parents. What makes theatre so magic and why is Shakespeare still relevant? When an alarm is deliberately set off during their GCSE drama exam, a group of students find themselves in detention. As they struggle to navigate the seemingly endless tasks theyve been set as punishment, questions are raised. Who set off the alarm and why? Will they ever get out of this detention? Will it cost them their GCSE? And why is Shakespeare still so popular? So begins a meta deconstruction of the play as we move from classroom to theatre, artifice to reality. The performers switch between their characters and their real selves as they interrogate Shakespeare, the canon, the education system, the nature of theatre, and the world itself. They begin to wonder whether the classics really are that classic, or whether we might need to tell a different story altogether.... KCS Christmas Concert The Holy Birth , a carol sequence for organ and choir, was commissioned by Gloucester Cathedral Choral Society in 1985. This joyous seasonal celebration is infused with the natural grace that characterises the choral works ofHerbert Sumsion, a contemporary and friend of Elgar and Vaughan Williams. In addition to this delightful piece, there will also be our traditional festive offering of favourite choir and audience carols, interval drinks and mince pies! Virtuoso violinist Nigel Kennedy returns for his first - and biggest - UK tour in over ten years. The world’s best-selling violinist will be celebrating his 70th birthday in 2026 and is as fresh and entertaining as ever. This will be a unique evening of classical, jazz and contemporary repertoire from the UK’s greatest living violinist. Expect breath-taking Bach, alongside the most delicate rendition you will ever hear of A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square. Nigel’s own compositions will feature, including a moving tribute to Yehudi Menuhin and Stephane Grappelli, who taught, mentored and inspired him during his early years. Nigel will also perform on the piano, which may surprise some but will delight all, as his virtuosic talent knows no bounds. Accompanied by his great friends Alec Dankworth (son of the late John Dankwork and Clio Laine) on double bass and Peter Adams on ‘cello, this is a rare opportunity to witness one of the greatest virtuoso musicians this country has ever produced. Kennedy’s talent showed itself early and he won a scholarship to the Yehudi Menuhin School of Music aged just 7. At 13, Kennedy was introduced to the jazz violin legend Stephane Grappelli, sparking a lifelong interest in the genre. The pair became great friends, touring theaters, folk clubs and at the famous Ronnie Scott’s jazz club in London, where Kennedy performed for the first time. Kennedy’s 1989 hit recording of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons made him an international star and transformed the classical music scene for the better: there are no stuffed shirts at a Nigel Kennedy gig. Nigel’s inclusive and open-minded approach to all styles of music continues to this day and has won him fans all over the world. Nigel combines a unique mix of repertoire with energy, dynamics and mind-blowing technical and emotional musicality, which will leave audiences spellbound.
