The MCA has created a thriving independent platform to celebrate the artform that is musical comedy. Amy is a witty and energetic lost soul who despite years of culture, education and therapy still finds farts funny. Originally training as an opera singer but then rebelling into pop, performing comedy was an unexpected career move which has resulted in the perfect platform to combine songwriting, singing and being silly with free rein. Winner of Audience Choice at the Musical Comedy Awards, Amy has performed live multiple times on BBC Radio 4 and been recognised as playful and charismatic (Chortle) and for having divinely constructed comedy (Playbill).
