The flat is extremely quiet with the street being one-way, in the middle of Barnsbury, the house being semi-detached and with soundproofing installed in the ceiling, minimising neighbour noise. The house is set well back from the road with the large front patio and front window, making it very bright inside despite being a garden flat. The garden is only shared with one flat above, and you are the only residents with direct access to it, so it really does work out to be very private. The kitchen was recently installed by us and is a custom German-made high-spec design, installed to a very high standard so it's a great feature. The open-plan study area and large utility/storage are also great features. The overall layout is great, very logical, with well-proportioned and evenly sized rooms. The transport connections are great - much better than we realised when we moved in - particularly airports, as you can get to Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton all very quickly via single trains.
