According to a study carried out by GoCompare Home Insurance, installing a new bathroom has been, so far, the most popular home improvement project in the UK in 2017.
The survey found that 39% of people have decided to update their bathroom this year, closely followed by 38% who have splashed out on a new kitchen – both of which often top the charts of the most popular home renovation projects.
Just over a third of those surveyed installed a new boiler or heating system, which is one of the many home improvement ideas worth investing in, as improving your home's efficiency can add long-lasting value to your home.
