In order to ensure we can maintain the safety of everyone involved in a sales or lettings transaction we have implemented strict health and safety guidelines which our teams and customers will need to abide by. We understand that you may have questions surrounding starting the sales or lettings process at this time, so to help you find the answer you’re looking for more quickly, please see some of our most frequently asked questions below.

How do I get a valuation of my property?

How do I instruct Foxtons?

How do I get a valuation of my property?

For an in-person property valuation

We are pleased to be able to offer our customers in-person valuations. Seeing your property in person allows us to get a clear idea about all the factors that contribute towards a property's true value. Your local Foxtons sales or lettings valuer will give you the latest information about the market in your area, based on previous success and buyer or tenant demand.

In order to ensure the safety of both you and our teams, strict health and safety guidelines will be in place throughout valuations. Your Foxtons valuer will be able to advise you on these guidelines when confirming your appointment.

Online valuation

Prefer a house valuation online? Our online valuation tool will take into consideration similar properties that have sold or let nearby and provide you with an estimate value. We would recommend speaking to one of our local experts for a true valuation.

Click here to contact your local Foxtons office and book an in-person valuation today.

How do I instruct Foxtons?

If you have not had a valuation but you already know the price you would like to market your property for, please contact us using the online valuation form and your local Foxtons manager can instruct your property immediately.

If you have had a valuation with Foxtons and you are happy with the price suggested by your manager you can instruct us online through your My Foxtons account. You can view your valuation details and sign terms and conditions online.

Currently all visits to any of our branches will need to be booked in advance. If you would like to speak to one of our team members in person, please book an appointment by contacting either your Foxtons valuer directly, or via the relevant office.

How will viewings work?

Following a thorough risk assessment of our procedures we will be carrying out in-person viewings with only one household in attendance. Our priority is maintaining the safety of our customers and teams, and we will ensure that all parties involved in a viewing adhere to strict safety measures. We will require the occupiers of a property to confirm that they have read, and are able to comply with, our viewing guidelines. Tenants or buyers viewing a property will also be asked to comply with a similar set of guidelines. This is to ensure that we are able to operate in as safe a way as possible. You Foxtons valuer or manager will discuss these guidelines before any viewings.

In order to help us market your property in the best possible way, and to the most relevant tenants or buyers, we are helping all our clients to film video tours of their properties. Your local manager will provide you with a guide for best practice when filming your property, they will also edit the video if needed and ensure it is quickly uploaded to Foxtons.co.uk. All tenants or buyers whose search criteria matches your property will then be sent the video.

What happens if I get an offer?

In line with current Government guidelines, offers may proceed as normal, however the move-in date may be delayed. Your manager will make sure that both you and your buyer or tenant understands the current situation and they will help you work towards a mutually agreeable timeline.

Our sales and lettings teams are working hard to help clients sell or let their properties in the current climate. You can contact your local Foxtons manager Monday to Friday, from 10am - 4pm, alternatively you can complete a property valuation here to start the process online.
