This is an event that celebrates the time your child has spent at Hollyfield over the last 5 years and is an opportunity to end the year together, before the students sit their GCSE exams. The event will start at 3:30pm and will run for approximately one hour 25 Minutes. As well as speeches from Ms Jackson and our guest speaker, all students will receive a certificate listing their achievements since they joined in 2021. There will also be subject awards and memorial prizes presented to individual winners for the effort and progress they have made this year. We also hope to have refreshments on arrival as well as live music and a BBQ once the formalities have finished. We really do hope that you will be able to join us for this event and celebrate alongside fellow parents, teachers and of course the students, some of whom we will be bidding a fond farewell. Please note that a maximum of two tickets per child can be booked and it will be on a first come first served basis. Entry will be by ticket only. Due to the length of the event we would not advise bringing babies or toddlers and we are unable to accommodate buggies or pushchairs. There will also be no car parking available. We are planning to hold this event outside to not only take advantage of the idyllic backdrop of Albury House, but also because it increases our capacity to invite as many parents as possible. However, this makes the current arrangements dependent on the weather. Should inclement weather conditions be forecasted for that day, then we would have to move the event into the School Hall. If this was to happen, then unfortunately we would not be in a position to invite parents, due to lack of capacity.

Consummate guitarist, mandolin player and song-writer in his own right, Clive Gregson toured as part of the Nanci Griffith's Blue Moon Orchestra from 1996-2007. Nancis version of Clive's I Love This Town was released as a single in 2006 and became a radio hit in both America and the UK. Clive's musical bio is too long to mention here, but includes the cult band Any Trouble, a spell with Richard Thompson's band and as half of the acclaimed duo Gregson and Collister. The Stockport based sisters, Angela and Cathryn Hayes have their own distinct style with sounds suggestive of The Roches and the McGarrigles. They have been long-time Nanci Griffith fans and their vocal interpretations of her songs are spot-on. Clive got to know the Hayes Sisters whilst producing their debut album "Another Man's Shoes". A mutual admiration for Nanci's great catalogue of songs sparked the idea of this collaboration.

With their radically fresh, boundary-pushing take on traditional songs, Anglo/Irish quartet The Haar combine the formidable singing talent of Molly Donnery with three of the most exciting instrumentalists on the folk and traditional music scene, Cormàc Byrne, Adam Summerhayes, and Murray Grainger. Known for taking a familiar tune and turning it into something breathtakingly fresh and ambitious, the world-class instrumental improvisers produce ever-changing musical soundscapes, while Molly lets her sublime and versatile vocals flow to stunning effect. The band themselves say: We let our imaginations run free with these old favourites, and the result is breathtakingly beautiful and audaciously ambitious.
