We celebrate all things pastoral in a delicious series of anthems, partsongs, folk songs and madrigals, including music by Bernstein, Hadley, Howells, Stanford and many others. Meanwhile Cecilia McDowalls haunting cantata The Ice is Listening , inspired by accounts of frost fairs on the River Thames, reminds us of natures fragile balance a theme amplified by Raymond Yius rich song cycle The Earth and Every Common Sight . Over the evening, our amazingly talented LAMDA students will take to the stage, bringing you a variety of musical theatre performances, monologues and speeches! The evening will be a big celebration of all the hard work the LAMDA students have put in this year!

This is an event that celebrates the time your child has spent at Hollyfield over the last 5 years and is an opportunity to end the year together, before the students sit their GCSE exams. The event will start at 3:30pm and will run for approximately one hour 25 Minutes. As well as speeches from Ms Jackson and our guest speaker, all students will receive a certificate listing their achievements since they joined in 2021. There will also be subject awards and memorial prizes presented to individual winners for the effort and progress they have made this year. We also hope to have refreshments on arrival as well as live music and a BBQ once the formalities have finished. We really do hope that you will be able to join us for this event and celebrate alongside fellow parents, teachers and of course the students, some of whom we will be bidding a fond farewell. Please note that a maximum of two tickets per child can be booked and it will be on a first come first served basis. Entry will be by ticket only. Due to the length of the event we would not advise bringing babies or toddlers and we are unable to accommodate buggies or pushchairs. There will also be no car parking available. We are planning to hold this event outside to not only take advantage of the idyllic backdrop of Albury House, but also because it increases our capacity to invite as many parents as possible. However, this makes the current arrangements dependent on the weather. Should inclement weather conditions be forecasted for that day, then we would have to move the event into the School Hall. If this was to happen, then unfortunately we would not be in a position to invite parents, due to lack of capacity.
