Join Sue Palmer as she talks about her coastal adventure story, the correct way to eat a cream tea, shells, rockpool creatures and the best pasties in the world. Sue will share some of her research for The Shell Secret, talk about strange-looking rockpool inhabitants, reveal some ingenious survival tactics and display her collection of special shells.

Based in South Oxfordshire, Sue writes adventure stories for 7-12-year-olds.
Sue runs cross-curricular and interactive KS2 workshops for schools, libraries and festivals, weaving her writing research into her events. She is often seen messing around in rockpools or gazing up at the stars.
