Roger Sanchez, Chicane And More Set For One-Day House Event At Windsor Racecourse This Summer, Rave At The Races Introduces Celestry, A One-Day Celebration Of House Music At One Of The Uks Most Scenic And Historic Venues. Taking Place On Saturday, 30th August From 2 Pm To 11 Pm, Celestry Brings A Heavyweight Lineup To Royal Windsor Racecourse. Artists Include Roger Sanchez, Chicane, Todd Terry, Tall Paul, Jon Pleased Wimmin, And A Live Performance From Rozalla. Set Beside The Thames With Views Across The Water, Windsor Racecourse Is One Of The Few Venues In The Uk Where You Can Arrive By Boat. Known For Its Relaxed Summer Schedule And Open-Air Events, Its The Perfect Setting For House Music In The Open Air. Celestry Will Feature A Main Stage Built For Big Energy, A Vip Champagne Bar, Curated Street Food, And Cocktails All Day. Early Booking Is Advised.

Local community choir, New Egham Singers, will perform their popular Summer Picnic and Prom concert on Saturday 5th July 2025 at St Johns Church in Egham. The concert will feature well-known songs from leading classical and popular artists. Founded in 2009, New Egham Singers (NES), which incorporates Progeny Chamber Choir, has become a familiar part of the life of the area. NES, led by Musical Director (MD) Dr Guy Bunce, welcomes singers of different backgrounds, ages and musical abilities who get together at fun weekly rehearsals to sing a wide variety of songs. Whilst Progeny, overseen by MD Patrick Martin, tackles slightly more challenging music. Through its many performances, the choir has raised thousands of pounds for a variety of local charities. New Egham Singers are continuing to partner with their chosen charity for 2025: Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey. The charity provides expert support, services and advice to empower people who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted and deafblind and supports over 8,000 people in Surrey. Doors open at 5:30pm to set up picnics and the event will start at 6.00pm, showcasing a variety of music including Moon River, Im Still Standing and many other popular songs. The Summer Concert is accompanied by a picnic which singers and concert goers bring to enjoy during the interval. Then the second half of the concert will conclude with a Last Night of the Proms section complete with waving flags. All profits from the concert will go to Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey.
