“What isn't there to love about Richmond? Spending a bit of time in Richmond Park you can get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and feel like your in the countryside for a while, but ten minutes later you can be back on the high street with its mix of big brands and independent shops. During the day you have a multitude of cafes for coffee and lunch which on nice days can be taken down the the gorgeous riverside or over to the expansive green. For you evenings there's a plethora of pubs, bars and restaurants with many putting on live music, quizzes and other entertainment. For a slightly more cultured evening you have two theatres to choose from, one standard theatre and one in the round. For film fans there isn't just one cinema but three including one art house cinema with a diverse selection of small homegrown titles and international films. The transport links can take you into central within an hour and those who drive can be in the country in the same amount of time. To be honest, I can not think of anywhere better to live.”

An Evening with Nigel Owens MBE
We are delighted to bring you an evening with one of the world’s top rugby referees - Nigel Owens MBE. After playing to a sell-out crowd across venues in the UK, Nigel is visiting Harrogate to share numerous tales from on and off the field. Nigel is one of the most engaging and humorous characters in the game of Rugby Union, gaining an international following of fans and admirers with his charm, wit and indeed fairness. He is also the only referee to be appointed for three consecutive Heineken Cup finals and forever will be renowned and admired for displaying a dry sense of humour when dealing with players during the heat of battle. Making this an evening simply not to be missed for any sports fan as he recounts stories from his life and career. There will also be an opportunity for a live Q&A in the second half of the evening to ask Nigel anything (off the record!).Read more
