Scottish trumpeter Malcolm Strachan is a founder member of top UK funk/jazz-funk band The Haggis Horns as well as being one of the busiest session musicians in the UK today. In a professional career spanning 20 years, he's recorded with the likes of Mark Ronson, Amy Winehouse, Corinne Bailey Rae, Jamiroquai, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, Jesse Glynne, The Craig Charles Fantasy Funk Band, Black Honey, The New Mastersounds and Blue Note saxophone legend Lou Donaldson.

The Enemies of Turin are a completely improvised band, so each time they perform will always be completely different. As a band it’s all about listening and really being within the moment. The five diverse musicians have performed with each other in different formations. This new formation is what they are very much looking forward to exploring this evening. Bringing beat heavy electronic improv jazz, Enemies of Turin fuse diverse influences from across modern music in epic improvised sets interweaving big grooves, heavy bass lines, fierce hooks and gleaming electronics!

Anna Aarons started her singing career as a busker on the London Underground. It was here that she often got likened to the late Amy Winehouse. This gave her the idea to produce a show that carefully covered all of Amy's catalogue while touching on Amy's legacy in between songs. Aarons presents the show as herself, taking audiences on a journey of Amy's repertoire, songwriting, influences, and Amy's influence on her own songwriting. The show covers hits from Frank, Back to Black, Lioness, as well as Amy's jazz and hip hop covers. Joined by a talented 6 piece band, the musicians delight with extraordinary solos and the musicality that Amy was committed to. Since its inception, the show has also taken different forms such as 'Amy and Me' - a deeper look into Amy's songwriting and her influences on Aarons' original work. In Memory of Amy is now in its 8th year, continuing to delight audiences who always comment with enthusiasm for the show; specifically how much the devotion to Amy as a musician really shines through.

Thomas Giles Robinson is a British singer, bassist, radio presenter and long-time LGBT rights activist, best known for the hits "Glad to Be Gay", "2-4-6-8 Motorway", and "Don't Take No for an Answer", with his Tom Robinson Band. He later peaked at No. 6 in the UK Singles Chart with his solo single "War Baby".
