What locals say about Syon

“Isleworth is a helpful yet fun community to be a part of. It has easy access to all of London, with Syon Lane train station, Isleworth train station, Osterley tube station and Hounslow East tube station. A walk away is Osterley, lovely area with superb cafes, big homes and the wonderful, Osterley Park. Fields of lush green, carpeting the grounds, with Osterley House, this beautiful Georgian country estate is the place to be. So many TV programmes have been filmed here such as numerous episodes of 'Horrible Histories', scenes for 'Doctor Who', 'Chuckle Vision', 'The Young Victoria', 'Top Secret!' and 'The Dark Knight Rises'. However if you like a little bit of retail therapy, you can take a trip to Hounslow high street, where many shops and restaurants are based. Even a mall 'The Treaty Centre', has some great shops inside, which is also located on the high street. The local's top favourite shops and restaurants here are, Topshop, New Look, Dunkin' Donuts, Nandos and newly opened Creams, H&M and Next with a Patisserie Valerie inside. With also near by schools, specialist schools and independent schools (secondary/primary), many with Ofsted rating outstanding. On the other hand, a few celebrities also come round here to shop and eat, due to the privacy. Isleworth is really a diamond in the rough.”
