A message from the current owner

I've lived in Iron Works since 2012 and loved it - there is a real community in the building and a strong residents committee - many owners have lived there since the flats were built. I have also seen Hackney Wick thrive - when I moved in, Crate and the Counter Cafe were the only options, and now it has become a real destination with many cafes, bars and restaurants. I thought I would be there for a few years, but now more than 10 years later, we are only putting the flat on the market as we need more space for our family. I love the space, layout and view from the flat - it's beautiful in all seasons, and a luxury to have in such a vibrant area of London, with great transport connections and access to green spaces and facilities (Victoria Park, the Olympic Park and Hackney Marshes, among others), but no traffic noise and knowing that the view can never be built over.
