Midsummer Music Party 2026
MIDSUMMER MUSIC PARTY. SATURDAY 20th JUNE 2026
GARDENS OF THE BARLEY MOW, WEST HORSLEY
This is our fourth annual outdoor charity fundraiser and as always we appreciate your support.
The Horsley Live Music Club welcomes members and friends to its Midsummer Music Party in the gardens of the Barley Mow in West Horsley. The event will feature not one but two of Surrey's two best and most entertaining bands - The Charley Farley Sunday Four and the Nefarious Picaroons. If wet, the bands will perform in the Malting House, behind the pub - for advance ticket-holders only. Food and drinks will be available throughout the afternoon, including a Bar and BBQ in the garden. There is some seating, but feel free to bring chairs. All proceeds go to Cherry Trees, our wonderful local children's charity. Doors open at 2.00 and the first band will play at 2.30.
SUPPORTING CHERRY TREES
Cherry Trees , our local children's charity, provides a fantastic service to children with complex disabilities and their parents, and relies upon charitable donations for a significant part of its income. Everything we raise from this event, after costs, will go to Cherry Trees. Last year, we raised more than 2,000 and hope to exceed that this year.
PLEASE BUY A TICKET NOW
A limited number of advance voluntary donation tickets are available - these are 12.50 per person (which includes booking fees). If you purchase tickets in advance, you get priority admittance to the Malting House to see the band, in the event of rain. For this reason, advance voluntary donation tickets are limited to 100 people. You also have the satisfaction of knowing that come what may, you have supported the event and the charity. If you prefer, you can make a donation upon entry. Thank you.
THE CHARLEY FARLEY SUNDAY FOUR
The Farleys (all five of them) have been performing in pubs, clubs, festivals and parties since 2008. Serving a smorgasbord of modern pop in the style of a bygone age the boys deliver their party fayre using drums, bass, banjo, ukelele, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and four-part vocal harmonies. Their infectious skiffle/swing groove is guaranteed to get you dancing.
THE NEFARIOUS PICAROONS
A seven-piece acoustic band from Guildford, playing a collection of originals, rare and obscure covers, and pop classics in their unique low-down-dirty-stomped-up-pop-skiffle style. The band plays regularly at festivals and pubs across the south of England - from the Hayling Island Ukulele Festival to Guilfest. The Nefarious Picaroons
