As thousands took to the streets of the capital to take on the Vitality London 10,000 challenge, so too did our very own members of Team Foxtons, who came together to take part in this charity fundraising race.
In honour of our official charity partners, London’s Air Ambulance, a team of 11 Foxtons employees joined the masses of wonderful and brightly coloured participants taking on the 10k race from St James’s Park, through the City of Westminster, the City of London and back to St James’s Park.
We are delighted to announce that the outstanding effort from Team Foxtons has so far raised a whopping £2,000 for London’s Air Ambulance – with donations still coming in.
Team Foxtons runner, Guy Evans, Operations Director from our Fulham Broadway office commented, “What an incredible event and fantastic opportunity to support such an amazing charity and the invaluable work that they do. We’re all very proud to have pounded the streets for such a worthwhile cause!”
Meanwhile Captain Andy Thomson, pilot at London’s Air Ambulance said, “On behalf of everyone at London’s Air Ambulance, I would like to say thank you to Team Foxtons for running Vitality 10,000 for us. As you know, the funds that you raise keep us operational and we are so grateful for your support. We are delighted that all the hard work that you have put into training has paid off. Thank you again!”.
A well-deserved pat on the back to everyone! And a hot bath and some muscle rub?!
